Fear Has No Place
Fear Has No Place 12 SCRIPTURES TO DECLARE DO NOT FEAR In these uncertain times, we all know someone or we have personally experienced anxiety
We have all felt distant from God at one point or another.
You’re not alone. He is closer to you than you know.
He loves you. “I love you just as the Father loves me; remain in my love.” (John 15:9 GNT). The noise of the world can affect your feelings and the way you think. Emotions can play tricks on us and lie to us. He wants you to remain in His love and be with Him. He is with you all the time “…remember, I am with you always.” (Matthew 28:20 NET)
We encourage you to connect with God’s Word, talk to Him and spend time with Him. ‘Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” ‘ (John 14:6 NLT)
Shut out all the noise and switch off the distractions. Find somewhere quiet, take a deep breath and be still with God. “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10 NKJV). God is with you always, it’s His promise to you and He mentions this many times in His Word. He will never leave or abandon you.
Connect with God by spending time with Him every day, reading His Word, and praying the Scriptures. If you’re not sure where to begin, we encourage you to make a start by reading Psalms.

The life of every living thing is in His hand,
as well as the breath of all mankind.
Job 12:10 (CSB)
REFLECT
If there is anyone who has experienced hardships in life, it is the character Job in the Bible. He has lost his livestock, servants, children and even his own health! But Job’s response showed his trust towards God: “… Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.’” Job 1:21b (ESV).
During difficult times in your life, there is one that you can fully rely on – God himself. You can lose your wealth, those who help you, your family or even your health, but God is someone that you can trust. He loves us so much that He gave His Son Jesus to die for our sins on the cross – that is His heart. He is surely worthy of our trust.
In Job 12:10, Job has mentioned something that is true: “The life of every living thing is in His hand, as well as the breath of all mankind.” (CSB). God is in control over the life of every living creature. Again, this proves that we can trust Him. What trying times are you facing right now where God is not in control? God is aware of what you are going through. Job 23:10 says, “‘But He knows where I am going. And when He tests me, I will come out as pure as gold.” (NLT)
We might not understand why we suffer, but we can trust in God who is in control of the life of every living creature. Question is, who do you put your trust in? Read Proverbs 3:5-6 to see where our trust should be.
PRAY
Father God of heaven and earth, please help me to trust you during the difficult times that I go through and during the good times. I believe that you are in control. Please show me the path to take by your Holy Spirit and point me to your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In His name, I pray, amen.
